How the ISCon updates signup works.

What you sign up for

We use the ISCon updates list to share conference dates, speaker and programme announcements, ticket information and related ISCon news. Signup is optional.

What we collect

The form collects your email address and consent to receive these updates. We also record when you request and confirm your subscription and which version of the signup statement you accepted. Short-lived, one-way identifiers derived from request IP addresses help us limit automated abuse.

Confirming your address

Submitting the form sends a confirmation email. You join the confirmed mailing list only after you open the link and confirm. Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. Unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days during routine service cleanup.

Where your information is kept

Subscription records are kept in a private directory on the existing ISCon hosting account, outside the public website directory. They are not published on this website. The hosting provider also processes the technical requests and email delivery needed to operate this service.

Changing your mind

You can unsubscribe using the link in an ISCon updates email. Unsubscribing removes your address from the active list. For questions about your subscription or a request to access, correct or delete your information, contact marketing@isconbl.com.

Cookies and external content

The signup and confirmation forms use a temporary session cookie to protect submissions. The homepage does not load the YouTube player until you choose to play the video. Opening external websites or playing a video also involves those providers and their privacy practices.
